I was born and raised in the Philippines. My favorite childhood memories involve having a great time with my family/friends with food and the beach.

Looking back, I really loved the simple and slow island life. I miss it so much. After chasing the American dream and living that fake busy life, the pandemic definitely reminded me how important it is to slow down. As I navigate the loss of my mom and dealing with my homesickness, I found comfort in creating nostalgic digital art.

Sampaguita Creative is my safe haven for creating art without pressure and an exciting way to reconnect with my roots. I also want to use this platform to shine a spotlight on any Filipinx artists out there who are relentlessly chasing their passions and build a supportive community around it. Etsy shop shift

You may have found me through my old Etsy shop called Pretty Simple Thing. I started that as a shop focused on helping others on their debt free journey and it kind of evolved into a mix of digital downloads and Filipino merch. I've decided to focus my time on creating more Filipino art so here I am operating at Sampaguita Creative. I hope you're enjoying the new shop. I'm happy you're here!
